Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has ordered to eliminate inequality in salaries of government employees.
He said that the budget would give good news to the employees.
A meeting of a special committee was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab to eliminate pay inequality in which the DRA committee presented recommendations and suggestions.
Usman Buzdar said that increase in salaries in proportion to inflation requires employees, there is a sense of needs and problems of government employees, economic problems of junior government employees will be solved on priority basis, employees feel deprived due to inequality in salaries.
The meeting was attended by provincial ministers Raja Basharat, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Hashim Jawan Bakht, Hussain Jahanian Gardezi, Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary Finance and other officials.

A letter submitted by APCA Punjab Provincial President Mr. Akram and Provincial General Secretary APCA Punjab Mian Ikram-ul-Haq to the provincial government regarding the demands has been forwarded by the Punjab Services and General Administration Department to the concerned departments for implementation.
