Notification of Lockdown in Punjab Lahore
Contents of the Letter:
ORDER NO.S0 (G)/P&SHD/4-2/2020. WHEREAS, there has been an constant increase in positivity percentage and prevalence of COVID-19 in the Province of Punjab during last two weeks which poses a serious and imminent threat to public health. Hence, it is mandatory to take all possible safely measures for prevention and control of this disease.
2. AND WHEREAS, in my opinion there are sufficient grounds to proceed under Section 4 (c), 5 ( I )(e) and 5 (1 )(f) of the Punjab Infectious Diseases (Prevent,. and Control) Act 2020, as on immediate preventive and speedy remedy and the directions hereinafter appearing ore necessary to ensure Public health and conserve lives In the Province of Punjab.
3. NOW THEREFORE, I. Copt. (R) Muhammad Usman, Secretary. Primary & Secondary Healthcare Deportment. Government of the Punjab, after approval from the Chief Minister and in exercise of powers conferred under Section 4 (c). 5(1) (e) and 5 (I) (1) of the Punjab Infectious Diseases (Prevention and Control) Act 2020. do hereby order that there shall be “controlled entry and exit” In the areas of district WHORE Identified as holspols of Covid-19 disease (list attached al Annex-A) with Immediate effect fill 19. November, 2020.
4. Furthermore, the following shall also be observed:
a. All markets, shopping malls, restaurants, offices (public and private) shall remain closed In these areas.
b. There shall be a complete ban on movement of people to and from these areas by public and private transport except for limited movement of one person per vehicle to and from the exempted facilities.
e. There shall also be a complete ban on gatherings of all kinds for social religious, or any other purpose at any place, public or private through° these areas.
d. In the closed areas the following shall be exempted from this order.
